Julie M. Benz born 1 May 1972 is an American actress famous for playing Rita Bennett as Rita Bennett Dexter in which she was awarded the Satellite Award for 2005 for the best female supporting performance in Motion Picture/Series/Mini-Series made for TV. She starred on the series No Ordinary Family until it was cancelled on May 13, 2011. Darla was one of her most well-known characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as Angel.
