Meredith Salenger

Salenger was raised and born within Malibu, California. She loved performing for friends and family as an early child. When she was just eight years old she was taken by her mother to her first class in acting. Her first role was a small part as an orphan singing and dancing for the feature film Annie produced by John Huston. Salenger has also appeared in some commercials on television. Salenger was the first actress to play the lead role as a lead actress in The Journey of Natty Gann which was which was a Disney film starring John Cusack with Ray Wise. It was the very first US film to win the Gold Award at the Moscow Film Festival. The film was named "Best Actress in Drama" from the Youth in Film Awards, because of her portrayal of the sexy Natty. In addition, she appeared in four films before she turned 18 years old. One of her films included A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. Then she went to Harvard to further her education.
